eSignature Authorization Form
The e-Signature Authorization form will be displayed to users if e-Signature configuration is required in Deacom.
In addition to the standard Username and Password fields, the form may display the "Single-Sign On" button if SSO features are configured system-wide via via System > Options.
- If SSO features are enabled system-wide, but are not required for the user (via the SSO only flag on the user record), then users can ignore the Single-Sign On button and enter their Deacom username and password to complete the e-Signature process.
- If the user clicks the Single Sign-On button, the SSO window will open for credential verification. If verification is successful, the system will apply the e-signature.
- If the user does not click the Single-Sign On button and instead enters their credentials, the system will perform the following checks and actions:
- SSO Capable (but not SSO-only on user record) If the user's record does not have SSO only enabled via System > Maintenance > Users, the system will simply apply the normal eSignature logic and apply the credentials. Note that these users can also enter their username and password to e-sign and do not have to use the Single-Sign On button.
- If the user's record is marked to require SSO, the following prompt will be displayed "User must e-sign via a single sign-on provider".
